A Rising Star Matthew Rife is a name that is quickly rising in the comedy world. As an American comedian and actor, he has become well-known for his hilarious stand-up routines and performances in movies and television shows. But there’s something new and fresh about him that has caught the attention of his fans lately - his haircut.

I had the honor of cutting Dricus Du Plessis’ hair before his fight in Toronto. As the first African UFC champion, he connected with my Portuguese heritage and shared stories from his time in Africa. I gifted him some of my products and told him I believed he’d win, even as the underdog. His calm, focused energy during the cut made me feel he was ready — and he proved it by becoming the new middleweight UFC champion. I’m grateful I got to play a small part in his fight‑week journey.

Traveling to cut hair for comedian Matt Rife has always been an exciting experience, but my recent trip to Los Angeles for the "Netflix Is A Joke" show was particularly special. Not only did I get to style Matt Rife's hair, but I also had the pleasure of cutting hair for Martin Amini, who was an opener for Matt at the show. 

Toronto celebrity barber Claudio Ferreira, owner of Fade Room Barbershop, recently had the honor of cutting Bas, the rapper signed to Dreamville, before his Toronto concert. Known as Claudio the Barber, Cut and styled Bas's hair at his hotel.
